Tessa Thompson has been wearing some pretty outrageous outfits as she works her way through both a Westworld and a Marvel promotional tour at the same time, but for the world premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder, she dialed the cray way back and went for something rather pure in its simplicity.

You can tell from the candid shots that this dress is strictly for standing still and striking a pose. Even so, we find it pretty appealing. It’s got a futuristic/fantasy quality as well as an armored quality, both of which speak to the film and the character she’s playing. Having said that, the skirt doesn’t hang very well. It looks like it’s pulling away from the bodice, which may have been by design, but it doesn’t really work for us. It’s also too long and probably could’ve benefited from a slit. Still, it’s interesting and eye-catching. It’s got a lot of impact, even if the design doesn’t quite work. We like the arm jewelry, but the earrings come off a little too delicate for such a statement-making dress.
