Congratulations, Natalie Portman! Not only did you make your triumphant return to the MCU, but you’ve also returned to the T Lo Solo Spotlight Post for the first time since the Before Times! It must have been very difficult for you, going so long without the benefit of our loving judgment. There, there. We’re here now and we’ve got some thoughts on your look.
We kinda love it. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards and we wouldn’t rate it among the more interesting looks of the year, but it’s fun to see her work a style that’s so uncomplicated: Hot Glam. This kind of style hasn’t really been her bag for a while now, but since she’s playing a big-time superhero and not really gunning for an award or anything, why not just go for hot? Keep it simple, we say. A girl just needs a gold dress, some matching sandals and ten pounds of makeup for a Marvel red carpet. We think the drag eyes might be a little too much for her to handle, but aside from that, we have no notes. She looks great.
