The THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER World Premiere Red Carpet Rundown

Posted on June 24, 2022

We gave Natalie and Tessa some time in the spotlight circle, but the entire Thor: Love and Thunder red carpet was full of lewks, from the stars of the film to the extended MCU family. Let’s judge!

Chris Pratt

Another clearly very expensive but poorly fitted suit from this guy. Good suiting is just wasted on him.

Elsa Pataky (in Dundas) and Chris Hemsworth

We realize that these are two extremely attractive people wearing pretty outfits, but we’re professional nitpicking bitches and all we can see are his black dress socks. Thor, they do not go. She looks great, but we still don’t like those plunging, squared-off necklines. We won’t tell the guy with the best pecs in show business that he needs to wear a tie or do up another button, but we wish that placket had been heavily starched.

Jaimie Alexander in Marc Jacobs

We want to like it for being dramatic and unexpected, but we’d have to work really hard not to see the bedspread. The leather gloves are a bit much for June.

Karen Gillan in Oscar de la Renta

It’s okay, but it looks kind of dated and she doesn’t seem all that happy to be wearing it.

Kat Dennings

The design is a bit overdone, but the style really suits her. We’d have edited out that bow and those puffy shoulders, though.

Lia McHugh in PatBo

She clearly loves it, so we won’t be bitchy about it. The print is a little mumsy to our eyes and we think the shoulder ruffles are unnecessary, but it’s pretty enough.

Taika Waititi

It’s a gorgeous suit. We’re not sure if the beads have any further significance, but we love that he wore them. He may just have the best director hair ever.

Xochitl Gomez

We really don’t like that wide-open front slit (which is really more of a slit/mullet skirt hybrid), but the rest of this is great; strong, a little sci-fi costume-y, and eye-catching. The shoes don’t look like they fit, but they’re fabulous. Love the hair and makeup.
