And now for the latest French Girl Report from Cannes. Marion Cotillard came to the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Karma in a very un-Chanel take on the Little Black Dress. We should probably prepare you to not expect much in the way of ooh-la-la in the scrolldown.

That’s gonna be a no from us, femme. There was a half-hearted attempt by us to somehow come up with “It’s not so bad” post, but it turns out, it totally is. We were thinking the skirt was okay, but then we realized we hated the underskirt as well as the waist, so we can’t really make that argument. We also thought the straps were kind of interesting, which they are, but that bodice is ugly as hell. Sorry, femme. It’s just not working, even when you pin a Chanel logo all over it.
