Hot damn, this is a hard one for us. While we’re thrilled to turn the final voting on the worst looks of the year (go read parts one, two and three if you haven’t already) over to you, it’s KILLING us that we made the decision not to write anything about the Top Five picks lest we unduly influence your vote. We’re all about protecting democracy ’round these parts but we sure wish we could give some of these monstrosities the bitchy sendoffs they deserve. But we feel we’ve trained our kittens well and not only are we bestowing the choice of the final tally over to you, we also encourage everyone to really tear into some of these horrors in the manner they deserve.
Without further ado, the nominees for the WORST Red Carpet Look of 2019 are:
UPDATE: The voting has closed and the kittens have spoken!
5. Michelle Yeoh in Elie Saab at the “Last Christmas” New York Premiere
4. Rosamund Pike in Givenchy at IWC Schaffhausen’s “Silver Spitfire” Event
3. Rosamund Pike in Hermès at the “A Private War” London Special Screening
2. Eva Longoria in Atelier Zuhra at the Kering Women In Motion Dinner
1. Marion Cotillard in Balmain at Cannes
We’re sorry to have done that to you. Would you like a cool cloth for your forehead before continuing? Or perhaps a bucket of some sort? When you’ve pulled yourself together, think carefully about which look you hate the most and then make your choice:
And if you need something to lift your soul after all that ugly, head on over to vote on the BEST Red Carpet Look of 2019. We promise it’s a much more soothing post.
