We started off our last post with an observation so obvious it bordered on banal and now we’re going to do the same thing. Lady Gaga came to the Grammys to serve up a High Diva Moment.

Again, we realize this is not news. In fact, our initial reaction to this look was a mild surprise that it was so conventional. But let’s face it: the Meat Dress was a long time ago and she’s been on her Grande Dame kick for years. Besides, this is only considered conventional for her. She’s worn so many outrageous outfits and costumes over the years that coming dressed like a formal crow doesn’t even rate an eyebrow raise — which is not to say we’re bored by this at all. It’s gorgeous. There aren’t many others who could pull it off. Love the hair and the eyebrows, which lend it that sense of weirdness that makes it totally Gaga.
