That’s right! She’s a Topshop girl, through and through! Obviously, the highest likelihood is that the longtime Chanel muse (and nearly constant Chanel wearer) will be wearing something from the House that Coco built. We’d be surprised if it wasn’t built into her contract with the brand. While she has worn other brands during awards season, it’s notable that she wore them near the end of the season and at events that aren’t necessarily considered Oscar prologues or Oscar adjacent. B List events, in other words. No, we think the Chanel’s a safe bet. The real question is whether she’s going to come as the classic Chanel princess or as the queer punk version she sometimes favors. She can turn on the conventional glam when she wants to, but we think she’ll also add a little edge to her look in some way. Classic Chanel with a twist.
