The cast of The Vampire Lestat hit the red carpet in chic, sexy high style — but no cosplay, thankfully — at the season premiere. Let’s assess!
Sam Reid
It’s a lovely and chic suit. The minimalism suits him very well and we appreciate that he’s not engaging in cosplay, but this feels a bit too drab and buttoned up for promoting this kind of project. We also don’t think that’s the best way to style his hair.
Jacob Anderson
This is pretty cute, although we’d like it more if the shirt didn’t have that fussy cravat.
Assad Zaman
It’s a chic outfit, but we have to be our nitpicky selves and note that the penny loafers are the wrong choice — a long horsebit loafer would’ve been our rec — and the shades should be black.
Damien Atkins
Well alright, then, Mr. Pecs. Congrats on the results of your hard work, but the sheer shirt under a conventional suit is getting pretty tired at this point.
Delainey Hayles
It’s fine. The bust element overwhelms her a little.
Ella Ballentine
It just occurred to us how admirable it is that they’re all avoiding any sort of goth cosplay. Granted, the material itself isn’t very goth, but you’ve got to figure the temptation to pull a Wednesday while promoting your gay vampire series must be pretty great. This is the gothiest look of the bunch and it’s not even all that goth. We really hate that sheer overlay, partly because it interferes with the necklace so much.
Jennifer Ehle
The is very elegant but we don’t like the pushed-up sleeves.
Noah Reid
It’s a nice suit, sloppily styled. The boots don’t go.
Sheila Atim
She makes everything she wears appear much more dramatic than it actually is. This is fine, but she looks fantastic.

THE VAMPIRE LESTAT goes on tour while being haunted by “muses” from his past. As the band’s popularity grows, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires & humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion.
