It’s THURSDAY, darlings! We feel like that should be celebrated, no? Get on your virtual jet and meet us in virtual Hong Kong for the day. We have plenty of frivolities and distractions planned for you so you have no excuse for not procrastinating.
Even Paul Rudd Is Tired of Being Typecast as Paul Rudd
He is Hollywood’s most affable and bankable everyman. It’s just that sometimes … he really wishes he weren’t.
At 57, Rudd has come to terms with who Hollywood wants him to be. In fact, he has built a long and successful career being that guy. And though he’s found ways to spackle in considerably darker roles onstage, to which he’s retreated whenever he can, his goofy, good-guy charisma has fueled three decades’ worth of rom-coms (Clueless), R-rated comedies (I Love You, Man) and, most recently, a lengthy spin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s been called the “MSG of actors” by The New York Times, which noted: “You can add Rudd to any movie, and the movie will taste better.”
Mindy Kaling’s Not Suitable For Work Cast Are Just Getting Started
As soon as they all join a mid-afternoon Sunday video call together, Ella Hunt, Avantika, Nicholas Duvernay, Jack Martin and Will Angus cannot help but fall right back into five simultaneous conversations. Belated birthdays are celebrated, jokes about Angus’ “weird bachelor landlord” fly out and everyone immediately starts reminiscing about the last time they all saw one another.
“Do you remember those fuck-ass white cowboy boots?!” Avantika asks Duvernay, cackling as she does. He can’t stop himself from laughing at the inside joke: “Yeah, I’m never wearing those ever again.”
It’s the kind of chaotic chat that’s typically reserved for people who have known one another forever; just a year ago, these five adults were strangers.
Fine Jewellery Has Entered a New Era—These 6 Spring/Summer 2026 Trends are Leading the Shift
Why 2026 is high jewellery’s most exciting season in years, according to the experts
The fine jewellery halls of Harrods and Liberty were once treasure troves of refined elegance: exceptional gemstones, delicate designs and world-renowned houses with instantly recognisable motifs. Van Cleef & Arpels’ Alhambra, Chaumet’s Bee and Bulgari’s Serpenti are among the most iconic.
Although these classic items will always appeal, the past few seasons has seen a new wave of players emerging, bringing bolder colours, dynamic ideas and personality-led pieces that have expanded the fine jewellery landscape. High-net-worth shoppers are increasingly seeking ways to personalise their jewellery so that it feels uniquely their own, while remaining expertly crafted and worthy of investment—and demand for such pieces continues to grow.
8 Of The Best Sapphic Movies Of All Time
It’s pride month, which means a few things: lots of colourful supermarket sandwiches, a clinically overwhelming amount of parties and having to hear meatheads say things like, “When’s straight pride then!” Most importantly, though, it also means I have an excuse to wax lyrical about one of my favourite subjects: sapphic movies.
Before the mid-2010s boom in lesbian films (kickstarted in part by 2013’s Blue Is The Warmest Colour), sapphic watches weren’t particularly easy to come by. Aside from a few cult classics like But I’m a Cheerleader (1999) and The Summer of Love (2004) – and some others on this list – sapphic films were mostly confined to low budget releases or films with horribly tragic endings.
As Demand for Luxury Watches Outpaces Supply, the Secondhand Market Is Booming—Here’s How and What to Buy
Can’t get the watch you want? Bypass the waiting list by investing in pre-loved and vintage styles
Buying a new luxury watch might not be as simple as you think, especially if you have a sought-after model in mind, such as a specific Rolex or Patek Philippe. Walk into a store to do so, and you might well be faced with a scant offering in the cases, and the reality of long – highly competitive – waiting lists.
To put things in perspective, a watch dealer described to me the sales job he loved as morphing into that of a bad-tempered receptionist: “I just pick up the phone and say no all day long.”
Even watches without eye-watering price tags can be difficult to secure, as the furore surrounding the recent Audemars Piguet x Swatch collaboration demonstrated. Riots outside Swatch stores around the world on launch day, including in London and Birmingham, forced the brand to close its shops.
All The Portraits Of The Royal Children Over The Years
For fans and followers of the monarchy, a new royal portrait is always a big deal. And while any Cambridge or Sussex family moment prompts plenty of discussion, there’s a particular appetite for rare snapshots of the children – the Prince and Princess of Wales’s brood, George, Charlotte and Louis, or the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son and daughter, Archie and Lilibet.
Photographs of the three Wales children are traditionally released to mark major milestones, like christenings, birthdays and anniversaries. These family photos are often taken by the Princess of Wales herself, who is a keen amateur photographer and a patron of the National Portrait Gallery. Other portraits released over the years have captured the children welcoming their new siblings home, or slipping on their backpacks for their first day at nursery or school, and the Wales family often releases the group photo that appears on their Christmas card.
I Swapped Regular Sunglasses for Light-Tint Versions Years Ago—and I’ve Never Looked Back
They’re my everyday staple.
I’ve long been a fan of light-tint sunglasses. First purchased out of need due to my light sensitivity, they quickly became a staple in my daily repertoire. Not only do they limit my light exposure, they look subtly chic and help me feel pulled together for the day ahead (particularly if I’m tired, jetlagged, or just trying to hide my dark circles).
The pair I’m particularly in love with: my tried-and-true Jacques Marie Mage Dealan frames. They’re a classic, channeling an era steeped in music and artistry: the ’60s.
Norma Kamali
On Individuality, Her Lifelong Love of Learning and Why She’s Embracing AI
At 80, fashion designer Norma Kamali remains as original, curious and forward-looking as ever. Inspired by a formative first trip to London in the 1970s – where the energy of the King’s Road helped shape her creative vision – she has spent nearly six decades building one of fashion’s most enduring independent brands, known for its innovation, longevity and an unwavering point of view. From dressing icons in the 1970s to embracing technology today, Kamali has never stopped learning or looking ahead. Here, she tells Clementina Jackson about the lessons of a lifetime in business, the importance of making mistakes, and why she sees AI as a tool, not a threat.
Seashell Earrings Are the Perfect Trend to Try on Your Next Summer Vacation
Even if you’re not traveling this year, you’ll appreciate the beachy vibe.
Seashell earrings feel like a natural evolution for the kind of girls who, like me, grew up with a shell necklace securely fastened around their neck each summer. That eventually turned into a bracelet, then an anklet—anything that could remotely cosplay a surfer look (without the board, of course) and remind everyone and anyone that we were on vacation.
“I’ve Dealt With Negativity About My Muscles My Entire Life—But There’s Power In Stepping Out Confidently In Your Body.”
Trust me: it allows you to attract people who genuinely like you as you are.
I first became aware that people viewed muscular women differently during my teenage years, especially when taking photos.
Interestingly, I wasn’t even conscious of how I looked until other people started asking me questions like, “Do you get picked on because you’re muscular?” or saying things like, “Your arms look like a man’s.” It genuinely wasn’t something I thought about because when you’re training, all you care about is giving everything you’ve got in the session. Of course, as a result of hours and hours of training, muscles formed, and they served the purpose of helping me run fast.
What stood out to me was the difference in how men and women were encouraged to present themselves physically. Guys would do a quick set of press-ups before photos to make their muscles look bigger and more defined, and everyone would hype them up for it. Meanwhile, I’d be told to “relax” so my muscles looked softer and more feminine in pictures.
Beige summer skirts are this season’s most trusted fashion piece – this is how to style them
Maxi to micro, beige summer skirts are one of those pieces that will help unlock a whole new wardrobe
Whether you’re looking at street style images or scrolling through Instagram and TikTok, it’s a fashion piece that seems to be popping out at every corner. Despite a move towards expressive, colourful dressing and away from muted, quiet luxury, the modest beige skirt is claiming its spot as the it piece of the season. Don’t worry, though – it’s not one of those trends that is defined by a specific shape, even if A-line midi pieces are some of the most popular ones right now. Like an easy-going friend who’s ready to take on any adventure, a summer beige skirt is a broader concept that comes in a variety of shades, shapes and sizes that can be easily incorporated into anyone’s wardrobe.
A Portrait of Warhol’s World
A new collection with the Whitney Museum of American Art displays snapshots of the renowned artist’s life, taken with a Polaroid
As a central figure to the Pop Art movement, Andy Warhol is remembered for his playful artistry and ability to push against the norm. His art has a fantasy quality with bold coloring and repetition, without blurring into abstraction. He considers the various ways of seeing the world, using printmaking, photography, film, and drawing to create his images. The result is the modern correlation between his name and the Pop movement. With the new collection Family Album at the Whitney Museum of American Art, Warhol’s life and legacy is presented with a unique intimacy and a fresh look into his world.
“Warhol said: ‘A picture means I know where I was every minute. That’s why I take pictures. It’s a visual diary’ That’s what makes this project so special – looking through these old photos feels like stepping in time through Warhol’s life,” says Roxanne Smith, the Jennifer Rubio Assistant Curator of the Collection.

What Is “Wildflowering,” the Laid-Back Dating Trend Du Jour?
Typically, when I come across a new term meant to describe some previously undefinable aspect of modern relationships, all I feel is exhaustion. But the new phenomenon of wildflowering is something a bit different: a dating trend that’s almost a riposte to the concept of dating trends in the first place, encouraging singles to play the emotional long game instead of rushing full-speed toward serious-relationship status.
A messy bun is the relaxed way to style out second-day hair
No time? No problem.
There’s something infinitely sexy, casual and appealing about a messy bun, which is why: messy bun tutorial is one of the most tapped-up beauty hashtags on TikTok. Trends may come and go but the classic hairstyle endures and, crucially, evolves. We’ve been pleased to see the style expand its remit with pretty renditions and spin-offs like the cord-knot bun for a more elegant wedding-ready interpretation or the twist knot bun for a slightly sleeker nod to the OG hairstyle.
The truth is, messy buns are timeless for a reason. The bundled-up style not only provides a weather-proof option, whether it’s cold and blustery or hot and stifling, it also masks second-day roots and skips the need to blowdry when you simply cba. In fact, it leans into mussed-up texture – the knottier the better. One woman’s tangle is another woman’s volume.
These Nonalcoholic Drinks Aren’t Trying to Be Wine — and That’s the Point
Less Than 0.5% is importing and selling wine alternatives that sommeliers genuinely love to pour.
Restaurants like the Michelin-starred Jônt in Washington, D.C., Bar Etoile in Los Angeles, and Fet-Fisk in Pittsburgh have started working with Less Than 0.5%, as sommeliers search for high-quality nonalcoholic products that work well with food in a way that echoes wine.
“I think people are looking for products like these in a way that they weren’t even three years ago — customers really respond to them,” says Will Piper, The Four Horsemen’s wine director. “You’re drinking something with the complexity of a wine, but that’s a different culinary beverage. I don’t think you can run a fine-dining restaurant or even a bistro and not have stuff like this on your list these days.”
How to Style a Long-Sleeve Dress for Summer, No Matter Where You’re Going
Don’t let hot weather cramp your style.
Once the seasons officially change, it can be tempting to buy an entirely new wardrobe. But for the sake of your bank account (and, you know, the planet), I’m going to stop you right there. Because figuring out how to style a long-sleeve dress for summer will unlock outfit options you didn’t even know were possible—and give your trusty sundresses a little breather.
Obviously, sweater dresses aren’t going to work for 80-degree weather. But many of your more lightweight sleeved numbers can absolutely be adapted for summer temps, especially if they’re on the shorter side. With a few simple styling tricks and the right pair of shoes (read: sandals, slingbacks, or ballet flats), your off-season dress will magically transform into your new go-to choice for the months ahead. Here’s exactly how to style a long-sleeve dress for summer, inspired by our favorite tips and tricks.
Height Supremacy
Men on dating apps tend to stretch their height, because women overwhelmingly prefer taller partners. Tall people make more money and report more happiness. Even already towering basketball players have reason to fudge their height stats. Brady Brickner-Wood on the privilege of height, and the lengths men go to to get it.
Atruism: men lie about how tall they are. Height exaggeration is one of the oldest and most well-documented forms of self-inflation. Joseph Stalin reportedly wore lifts and had photos of himself doctored so that he would look larger; historians have posited that he was between five feet two and five feet four, which is perhaps why Harry S. Truman (a respectable five feet nine) is said to have referred to him as a “little squirt.” And it’s not just dictators. Overstating—and straight-up manipulating—height has long been common in Hollywood: Alan Ladd, the nineteen-forties leading man (an estimated five feet six or five feet seven), once acted alongside a taller starlet, who stood in trenches that had been dug into set floors. Tom Cruise (five feet seven) has been known to stand on a wooden box.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Celebrate ‘Dream Girl’ Lilibet’s 5th Birthday with Sweet New Photos Showing Off Her Red Hair
A source recently told PEOPLE that the family celebrated Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s birthdays with a trip to Disneyland
Meghan Markle’s little princess is celebrating her 5th birthday.
On Thursday, June 4, the Duchess of Sussex celebrated Princess Lilibet’s big day with a new post on Instagram showing off her daughter’s beautiful red hair.
The first image in the carousel shows Lilibet being held in the arms of her father Prince Harry while her smiling mom tenderly looks on. The second is a sweet snap of Lilibet walking barefoot in the gardens of what appears to be the family’s Montecito home. Lilibet is wearing an embroidered sundress in both images with her long red hair worn loose.
“Our dream girl. Happy 5th birthday, Lili,” Meghan captioned the images alongside a love heart emoji.
Meghan, 44, and Harry, 41, became parents when their son Prince Archie, 7, was born in the U.K. in May 2019.
Olivia Rodrigo: ‘A breakup can be an opportunity to redirect your life’
Pushing past the tumult of her teenage rise to fame, Olivia Rodrigo embraces her ‘big girl’ era on her new record, an exuberant account of the promise and pitfalls of falling in love
Olivia Rodrigo is growing up. While she’s still the same young woman with big feelings and a penchant for babydoll dresses, the 23-year-old appears much more self-assured than the anxious adolescent of SOUR and GUTS when we meet to discuss her new album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. (Ironically, she seems happier too.) She’s speaking to me from her native Los Angeles, her cherubic face beaming as she tells me about her morning: mainly interviews and signing vinyls ahead of the much-anticipated release. The record is about her first “adult relationship” – likely her romance with English actor Louis Partridge, rumoured to have ended in late 2025. She tells me she finished making the record in March. “I’m still so close to it,” she says, adding that she’s ready to put it out into the world now. “I’m excited for it to not be ‘mine’ any more.”
Ted Danson Says ‘I Want to Apologize for the Rest of My Life’ for Blackface Roast of Whoopi Goldberg: ‘So Arrogant and Stupid’
Ted Danson said he will “apologize for the rest of my life” over a roast of Whoopi Goldberg he did in blackface in 1993.
Speaking on W. Kamau Bell’s podcast “Who’s With Me?,” the “Cheers” and “The Good Place” actor opened up about the incident, which occurred at the New York Friars Club while he was romantically linked with Goldberg. Danson’s roast at the private event included racial slurs and jokes about the pair’s sex life, which drew backlash from those in attendance as well as public figures like David N. Dinkins, New York City’s first Black mayor.
How Backrooms Altered Lukita Maxwell’s State of Mind
Lukita Maxwell dropped out of Pratt two months in because Hollywood came calling. After flirting with acting in her home state of Utah, the New York transplant left school for a role on the HBO Max teen drama Generation and never looked back. Now she has a day job on the Apple TV+ comedy Shrinking, alongside Harrison Ford and Jason Segel. She’s also starring in Backrooms, the A24 horror film directed by 20-year-old Kane Parsons, whose found-footage YouTube series about an endless maze of fluorescent-lit office corridors has racked up over 190 million views. To talk about what that experience did to her, her costar and friend Finn Bennett flew out to L.A. and showed up at her house.
The 28 greatest spy movies of all time
Our favorite double (and triple) crosses in cinema — the more stylish, the better.
What is the allure of a spy movie? For many, it’s the thrill of international intrigue, brilliantly executed missions, handy gadgets, and well-tailored suits. The best espionage-centered films are dripping with aspirational style and sleek visual flair, giving the viewer a vicarious experience of uncovering international conspiracies and executing missions. Some have an impeccable sense of pacing and suspense, while others take a methodical approach that draws us further and further in.
Is It Rude to Show Up Empty-Handed to a Party? Here’s What Modern Etiquette Says
Plus, gift ideas they always appreciate.
Whether it’s a casual barbecue in the summer sunshine or a dress-to-the-nines sort of celebration, being invited to an event is an honor. Often, the host will provide clear directions about what to bring, or they’ll take a “your presence is a present” stance. And sometimes, there are existing social norms that encourage bringing a gift, like at a wedding or birthday party.
But what about other events when this isn’t as clear? Is it ultimately rude to show up empty-handed? We’ve got answers ahead.

10 Best Places to Visit in the U.S. for Seafood, According to Chefs and Restaurant Owners
From Hawaii to Maine, these U.S. destinations offer the freshest fish, crabs, lobster, and more.
The country’s best seafood destinations have one thing in common: the water is never far away. From the cold Atlantic waters off coastal Maine to the Pacific coastline of San Diego, the country’s most celebrated seafood cities owe their reputations to ultra-fresh seafood. Whether that means slurping freshly harvested oysters at a Puget Sound raw bar, cracking Old Bay-dusted crabs at a Baltimore crab house, or feasting on Nantucket Bay scallops, eating seafood at its source changes the experience entirely and ruins landlocked seafood forever.
