Venice Film Festival: Kristen Stewart in Chanel Couture at the “Spencer” Premiere: IN or OUT?

Listen, we warned you guys, after a year-plus of predicting that Kristen was going to be amazing in the role of Princess Diana for director Pablo Larrain’s Spencer, that when we were proven right we were going to be so damn smug about it. Well, the reviews have rolled in from Venice and they are rapturous. We said we smelled Oscar right from the start and so far, most of the critics who’ve seen the film seem to be coming to the same conclusion. No predictions! Not yet, anyway. Just a little bit of that much-promised smugness. We’re nothing if not people who honor our commitments, darlings.

Well, we love this. No, really. We’d probably edit a few things if we had that magic fashion wand we’ve longed for since we were wee little baby bloggers (the waist and the bow and maybe even the color), but once again, we are struck by her ability to make the most unlikely ensembles look insanely chic and tailored perfectly to her strengths. It’s that light butch rocker chick thing she’s always got going on. It makes everything she wears feel just a little punk. We do not expect a ton of agreement on this matter, so let’s hear it:
