It’s a good thing he’s cute, because if we look at his suit for too long, our eyes start to hurt. It looks alternately fuzzy, like static, or like the cover to a classic grade school composition book. Credit to him for wearing something so eye-catching, if not eye-hurting. Love the boots and – believe it or not – the lavender turtleneck. Let’s face it, the man’s got a knack.

She seems to have a tendency to go for rather minimalist sheath dresses. Nothing wrong with a no-fuss approach to things, but it always feels like there’s something lacking or missing. The fit in the bust isn’t great and we don’t really love the earrings. When there are so few details to focus on, the smallest nitpicks stand out.

We really have to give him credit for trying to grab hold of the vaguely ‘seventies suave trend going on in menswear at the moment, but we’re sorry to say, nothing he’s been doing lately has been working for him. Jake, if no one else around you will say this to you, we’ll be the bitches to do it: You are very much not the double-breasted-jacket-and-turtleneck guy – especially if they’re rendered in baby blue and mint green respectively. Oof, those pants are terrible.
