Máxima , everyone’s favorite wacky Argentine-Dutch queen, braved every working queen’s enemy – the wind – and showed up in Den Bosch in her current favorite pair of boots to visit the Join Us Foundation, which is a mental health charity.

We promise we won’t do this every time we cover her, but Princess Cathy would NEVER. It’s honestly a delight to cover such a human figure after so many years of covering the automatons of the British Royal Family. The hair’s messy, the lip needs a touch up, and she’s grinning in every single shot. It’s charming. As for the outfit, it’s a pretty great skirt, but we remain unconvinced by her love of pairing rich greens with tans. If she’d asked our advice, we’d have told her to ditch the sweater set because it was never going to survive the trip. A chunky sweater would have been the best way to complete this look.
