We can always count on Tessa Thompson to deliver the goods. And by “goods,” we mean a look worth talking about. In our line of business, that’s the goods. Anyway, the Thor: Love and Thunder star is clearly not content to let her co-star do all the heavy lifting for press events this week. She sported this Louis Vuitton look for a day of press:

One of the best things about the Instagram serve is that it gives celebrities and their stylists the opportunity to really show off a look in exactly the way they want it to be seen. Red carpets are often fairly chaotic affairs and most of the time, a star doesn’t even know if they’re facing the right way, let alone if they’re showing their dress off to maximum effect. Tessa’s a girl who likes to get her pose on, so she’s making this look really work for her in an editorial sort of way. We think the shape and style might have come off quite differently had she worn it on a step-and-repeat. We really love the look, but we think the hair is doing 90% of the work here. We’d almost certainly hate that hair bow on almost every other style or wearer, but she has a knack for making even twee elements look edgier than they are.
