When we saw thumbnails of Tessa Thompson’s whole fashion deal for the Thor: Love and Thunder London premiere, we squinted at them and noted that if she wasn’t wearing thigh-highs with this look, we’d be disappointed in her. We are happy to report our lack of disappointment.
It’s a damn shame that the bust is too tight and it’s cutting into her, because the overall effect is pretty great and she’s spectacularly well-suited to it. She’s been working a lot of armor-like looks for this tour, appropriately enough, and she has both a preference and a knack for wearing these deconstructed sorts of looks. We adore the dégradée effect, but we think the faux foundation garment element wasn’t needed. Still, with the hair and the boots, we can’t say she didn’t ace the styling on this one. Quibbles aside, we really love this for her, but of course, our word isn’t the final one here.
