Regina King spent most of the last year in full-on prestige mode while she heavily promoted her directorial debut One Night in Miami and then shepherded it all the way through awards season and right on up to the Oscars stage. By “prestige mode,” we mean serious fashion (sometimes with a little editorial edge to it) and simple, classic elegance. We think we may have fallen into the trap of assuming that prestige mode was her new default style, but we suspect that somewhere in the back of her head (and/or the heads of her stylists Wayman + Micah), she realized it was time to remind people of another side of Regina King.
The hot-as-shit movie star.
