Well, damn. Mark this as one more of those things we haven’t seen in years and didn’t realized we’d missed: A big, star-studded Royal World Premiere. It’s been far too long since we’ve seen Cathy get her glam on.
Sure, it’s nice to see William and Charles and we’ll even go so far as to say that Camilla has literally not looked this great in years. But let’s face it. It’s Mrs. Cambridge’s show tonight and she did not choose to disappoint.
We know she’s turned the glamour lamps to high beam a time or two during her tenure as the Duchess, but we can’t remember the last time she looked this spectacularly glamorous. She skipped the royal drag and went straight for “Best Actress nominee at the Oscars.” We tend to think this whole royal foursome turned the dials up considerably, knowing that it would be good PR for them to be seen as not only a unified family, but a uniquely glamorous one when the occasion calls for it. Say what you will about the Mountbatten-Windsors, there’s practically no one else as adept as they are at riding out bad press or rocky interpersonal issues.
They really do all look spectacular but she is on a whole other level this time.
