And with that out of the way…
We’ve given up on trying to read messaging in her style choices because unlike her sister-in-law and mother-in-law, it doesn’t really seem to be a thing she’s doing at anything approaching a high level. Even so, it’s hard for us not to notice that she spent most of the time performing her royal duties in neutrals; favoring beige and black the most. This isn’t the first time she’s worn a bold, bright color out, but it feels somehow notable as these two make their final rounds before saying their goodbyes to this life.
The difference in Harry’s affect when he’s doing public appearances alone versus when he’s doing them with his wife is fairly stunning. He’s all smiles when he’s on his own and all scowls when she steps out with him. He’s very protective of her and his antipathy toward the press ramps up when she’s by his side.
