Dua Lipa in Chanel at the 2024 TIME100 Gala: IN or OUT?

It’s been a while since we’ve given you a frock to vote on, so we want to express our gratitude to Dua Lipa, not only for stepping out for the Time100 Gala, but also for wearing the kind of dress you bitter kittens love to shred: sheer and tacky, with a bow on it. Or maybe that’s the kind of frock we love to shred. Either way:

The textile looks like one of those vinyl “lace” tablecloths you can get at Dollar Tree. Still, we don’t hate it; not completely. While the lace looks chintzy and the bow embellishment is genuinely ugly to our eyes, the dress itself is rather tame for her. We’d recommend ripping that bow off (and setting it on fire for good measure) and switching out the relatively demure necklace for a big honkin’ pendant with a brilliantly colored gemstone, but that’s just us. You make the final call here:
