Meghan, Duchess of Sussex visited Los Angeles Children’s Hospital last week as part of their Make March Matter fundraising campaign, where she read stories to some of the kids.

We are, of course, concerned with shallow matters around here. The dress is not a style that we tend to love (bit too flimsy and floaty for our tastes), although we do think the floral print is much better for her, if only because it adds color and visual interest to any pictures for which she’s posing. We don’t think her team is necessarily as savvy as they should be about what she wears for engagements, but at least they realized that showing up to this setting in a dour neutral would have been a bad idea. The flats are cute, but we’d have rec’d them in a blue, green or red.
