We interrupt all this Golden Globes-ery for a little long overdue Meghan time. The Prince and the Duchess stepped out for their first public engagement in six weeks, after a strategic retreat to their Canadian lair, where they spent the time plotting the downfall of the Commonwealth in retaliation for their suffering relaxing holiday in Canada with Baby Archie.
As per the usual, the Duchess doesn’t give us much to discuss on the fashion front, although the choice of a turtleneck and satin skirt is certainly a notable one. Can’t say it’s a combination that holds much appeal for us, but we kind of respect the oddity of it. And while we’ve been wishing for her to adopt richer colors in her style, we weren’t expecting her to go to brown town. It’s not our favorite choice, but it does suit her really well and it’s nice to see her in something other than black. Even so, we’d have suggested breaking up all that brown with at least one little pop of color.
