The legend Joan Cusack made an extremely rare (as in, the first time in over a decade) public appearance as she joined her co-stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Greta Lee at the Toy Story 5 premiere in London. We are pleased to announce that everyone looked nice for the occasion.
GRETA LEE IN HIGH SPORT
This is very cute and fun, with a bit of a cartoon vibe to it without lapsing too far into theme-dressing. We probably would’ve liked it more without the fringe, but we can’t say it’s bothering us that much. Our only quibble is that the textile looks a little flimsy and chintzy, but like we said, it’s a cartoon, and besides, it’s a nice change of pace to see someone on a red carpet in something seasonally appropriate.
TOM HANKS
This is a great casual look for a mature man that doesn’t chase trends or youth but also doesn’t lapse into Pop Pop cliches. He looks great. Personally, we think blue jeans would have been a better choice, but that’s not a dealbreaker. We can’t say we’re liking the shirt at all. It comes off sloppy and there’s not enough of a contrast with the vest. Love the boots, though.
TIM ALLEN
Perfectly acceptable. We don’t like the Henley at all and we think he’d have been better in a nice t-shirt.
JOAN CUSACK
A classic working a classic. This all appears to be in order. The frames are cute. We realize she’s not a fashion girlie or publicity girlie, but a little work on that hair would not have been remiss.
