Oh, Max. You did it again, Queen. ueen Máxima paid a working visit to Scouting Nederland and we can’t say she planned well for the trip, from a style perspective.
For instance, why would you wear a blouse with a pussy bow if you’re likely to wind up with a scouting kerchief around your neck at some point? For that matter, why would you wear a pussy bow over a heavy sweater? We suspect the outfit was chosen for having a scouting-adjacent color scheme, but that sweater is horrifyingly bad – in shape, style, color and fit. It’s almost impressive. Also, we don’t think an outing like this calls for a metallic clutch or those rather silly-looking earrings. And finally, THE HAIR. Look, this is a casual event, clearly. She doesn’t need to be dressed up for it, which is why we think the dress pants and the blouse are fatally bad choices. This is one area where the Princess of Wales excels and the Max could take a few pointers from her about how to dress sporty but still royal.
