The stars came out for the terribly titled Crime 101 and the looks were mostly pretty great across the board, even if it looks like they were all forbidden from wearing any color. Let’s be bitches about it!
Chris Hemsworth

It’s a beautiful suit, well fitted to his Thor form. We hate the shirt color, though. A pale blue would’ve been our choice.
Halle Berry in The New Arrivals

She got the T Lo memo about pendants. We’re pleased. While the plunge of that neckline looks out of proportion to the rest of the design, the jewelry was the perfect way to fill in that space. She looks gorgeous – she is Halle Berry, after all – and the skirt is a stunner, but the design feels unresolved; like they just hung a heavy skirt on a standard bodysuit.
Barry Keoghan in Mains

At first glance we thought he was sporting a keffiyeh and we were going to salute him for being so bold, but now that we see it’s just a luxury logo-branded scarf, we’re gonna declare this very stupid and stunty. We like the outfit, though. The hair looks awful, but he’s playing Ringo, so it’ll be awful for a while.
Monica Barbaro in Marmar Halim

It’s a lovely gown with a beautiful drape to it. We’ll always wish for more color in any red carpet or picture-taking situation, but we don’t actually mind the white — or we wouldn’t if she had some nice colorful gem hanging from a pendant
Mark Ruffalo

He’s usually pretty sloppy on the red carpet, so we’ll take this as a win. A little bit of contrast somewhere in the outfit would have been welcome. We appreciate the fresh-from-the-box shoes.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, Crime 101 weaves the tale of an elusive jewel thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose string of heists along the 101 freeway have mystified police. When he eyes the score of a lifetime, his path crosses that of a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) who is facing her own crossroads. Convinced he has found a pattern, a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) is closing in, raising the stakes even higher. As the heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are faced with life-defining choices–and the realization that there can be no turning back.
Adapted from Don Winslow’s acclaimed novella of the same name, the film is written and directed by Bart Layton (American Animals, The Imposter). Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte round out the cast.
