Bad Bunny, you almost had us with this one. The co-host of the Met Gala showed up in a custom Galliano for Maison Margiela look that had us gasping at first glance, but a little less enamored the longer we took it in.

The hat is giving 17th Century Spanish portraiture, which is why we originally swooned so much. It looks spectacular on him and the teeny little shades are the perfect styling accompaniment. We like the jacket (which was evidently worn over a corset) and we think the leather bouquet (containing Flor de Maga, the national flower of Puerto Rico) adds exactly the right kind of dark romanticism best suited to him. Unforch, it all goes south down south. We don’t mind the top-stitching, but the addition of that red stripe just kills the whole vibe of the look. We also don’t mind Tabi boots, but the trompe l’oeil hoof effect also kills the vibe.
