Mark this day on your calendars, because a rare and beautiful thing has happened. T Lo is about to gush over a denim gown at the Met Gala. No, we couldn’t have predicted it either and no, we’re not a bit concerned that we’re somehow lowering our standards. After all, just look at this:
And yes, you read that right: “GAP Couture.” GAP CEO Zac Posen created this gorgeous custom gown for Da’Vine and we think it may be the very best thing she’s ever worn on a red carpet. We love how it combines old school romanticism with a very modern kick-ass sensibility. The fit is amazing and that skirt is just about the most fabulous use of denim we’ve ever seen. Her hair and makeup look gorgeous with it. Sure, it doesn’t have anything to do with the themes, but the Met Gala is less about showing up in costume and more about serving the most jawdropping look you can snag.
