Wish star Ariana DeBose got her Disney princess on in the biggest, most conventionally glam way at the UK premiere and we love that for a queer sister. We also love that she evidently ditched the wrap quickly, because it really doesn’t go with the gown, which is spectacular:

We’ve bitched and moaned about see-through skirts plenty of times, but as with most of our complaints, it tends to be more about the ubiquity and prevalence of them than anything innate with the design. What we’re trying to say here is that, despite our constant complaining on the matter, we love this skirt. Remember: girlfriend’s a dancer at heart. She loves to show those moneymakers off and she responds really well to the kind of drama and playfulness a skirt like this provides. Having said that, it feels like the skirt hits too high on her waist or the bust sits too low. There’s a proportion thing happening that’s shortening her torso. Even so, the color looks amazing on her, the hair and makeup is gorgeous, and she clearly loves how she looks.
