Miss Sharon Stone has been spending the week at the Cannes Film Festival, where she is serving up fashion cray all day, every day. For that, we thank her. And also judge her choices.
IN MISS SOHEE COUTURE AT THE FJORD PREMIERE

That is extremely dramatic, as befits this drama queen. It’s also wildly overdesigned. We like the coat, but we hate the white lining. The dress is simply too embellished. The sparkles, the ombre, the flower applique, the color-blocking — it’s all way too much and we don’t think it can be edited. Dramatic, but not a very good design.
IN MICHAEL CINCO AT THE BETTER WORLD FUND GALA

Her face looks great, we’ve gotta say. This is kind of cute, although we don’t love the high collar and we think some of the applique could’ve extended into the skirt. We’re not loving the wet head.
IN SOPHIE COUTURE AT THE DIAMOND PREMIERE

Again, very dramatic, but kind of overwrought. All of that volume at the bust is overwhelming her, those sleeve things with their trailing sashes are incomprehensible, and we’re not loving the big belt. But we’ve got to give her credit. She never, ever half-asses a red carpet appearance.
