After showing up to the premiere in annoyingly plain but chic looks, Fjord stars Renate Reinsve and Sebastian Stan got a little more adventurous with their style choices for the photo call. Maybe they should’ve stuck to the plainer stuff? Let’s assess.

It’s a fascinating study in how to style a couple of cute pieces in a way that completely obscures their cuteness. We like the goofy booties, but we don’t think they go with anything she’s wearing. We also like the leather mini, but the shirt and jacket look incredibly drab with it and almost completely obscure it.

He looks very soft and cuddly, like a teddy bear with a buzzcut. Strange pieces for beachside in May, but they do look awfully nice on him. We get that slouchy is the point with those pants, but the puddling is out of control.

FJORD
The Gheorghius, a devout Romanian Norwegian couple, resettle in a village set in a distant fjord where they become close to their neighbours, the Halbergs. Their children bond despite their different education.
When adolescent Elia Gheorghiu shows up at school with some bruises on her body, the community asks itself if the traditional education that the Gheorghiu children get from their parents might have anything to do with it.
