At the risk of turning this into an All-Princess Cathy All The Time blog (and because celebrity style pickings are light at the moment), we’re going to feature the Princess of Wales for the 3rd time in a little over 24 hours. We have a good excuse, though. In fact, when we heard that she’d been spotted out at a charity polo match, we both agreed that there was no point in covering her after yesterdays two moments of retro royal drag. But then we saw the pictures of what she was wearing:
And we don’t know, they just felt like a breath of fresh air after the previous two outfits. To be fair, it’s not like this is some sort of edgy, trendy, or surprisingly modern look, but it just feels looser and easier and just a weensy bit fresher. It’s still modestly retro, however – and matched to within an inch of its life. But it’s nice to see her in a print, looking slight relaxed. Her version of relaxed, anyway. She remains rigidly appropriate. She’s been at this long enough to know that a royal lady better wear a slip on a windy day.
