After a year promoting her Victorian drag in the The Electric Life of Louis Wain and her return to mid-Century English aristocratic style for A Very British Scandal, Claire Foy is turning in her corsets and girdles – at least for the moment. We can’t say we blame her. Lady, we don’t exactly love your outfit here (except for the boots – and okay, the coat too), but we fully support you if you don’t want to wear a pencil skirt, bustle or pair of orthopedic nightmares for a little while. This is the most relaxing and comfortable front row look she could have possibly snagged and we salute her commitment to not giving the people what they expect.
