The Duchess of Cambridge hosted a carol service at Westminster Abbey titled “Together at Christmas,” which will be broadcast on Christmas Eve. It is perhaps no surprise that she showed up in a Christmas red, just as it’s not a surprise that she matches head to toe or that Prince William’s tie is coordinated with her outfit. What matters most here is that the royal coatdress has returned:
Huzzah, we say. Feels like it’s 2015 or something. We thought she’d given her one-time signature item up completely, but she must have been feeling the need to look as Duchessy, if not as Cambridgey as possible for this event. Given the dead-perfect match of those shoes, we’re surprised she didn’t coordinate her mask to her outfit.
