Were we right? Surely, you didn’t think they were going to be white, did you? Not when there’s a chance to match her shoes to her earrings to the one spot of color in her outfit. The Queen arrived for the opening of the State of Fashion Biennale 2026 in Arnhem, an exhibition about fashion, textiles and social transition. We’re thrilled by this outfit because it combines all of the things she loves, like big hats and super-matchy accessories, but unlike a lot of her style choices, it feels completely fresh and mostly of-the-moment. It’s still a Max look, which means several of the same pitfalls are still on display. The hat is too large for such a simple suit and the bag and gloves are terrible choices that clash with the other greens.
