And now, another episode of Blogger’s Secret, the confessional where we reveal all the machinations and deliberations that go on behind the scenes in the cutthroat, fast-paced world of celebrity, style and culture blogging. Whenever we’re faced with the possibility of featuring Gwyneth Paltrow content, we usually say something to the effect of “Oh, good. People like to yell at her.”

Don’t lie. You know it’s true. So does she. It’s built into her brand at this point.

Anyway, that’s not really why we featured her. It was just another mark in favor of it, blogistically speaking. We’re here to say “Damn, lady” to her dress choice. Say what you will about the gal, but when she decides to turn on the fashion taps (she doesn’t always), she tends to make discussable choices. No Angelina-like neutrals and generic looks from this one. We appreciate that. And we absolutely love this dress. She’s typically understyled for it. The clean face and beachy hair that are her trademarks just don’t feel up to the level of personality that dress is showing. Also, the hem hits at an awkward spot for those mules she’s wearing. They’re really cute and add a further pop of personality to the look, bet we think it’s either flats or a higher heel for this length.
