Caitriona Balfe is preparing to say her final goodbyes to Outlander and she stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to mark the occasion in a very odd choice of dress.
What a dreary frock. Putting aside the color, which is drab and un-telegenic, we’re struck by how stiff and heavy this looks. That’s not a sitting-down skirt, if you care about how your skirt looks when you’re sitting down. The ruffle trim on either end is awful. It’s too small and subtle to be anything but a vaguely annoying detail that does nothing for the dress. And speaking of doing nothing, those shoes are pretty bad and her hair looks inexplicably wind blown. Basically, the whole look comes off like something she picked out five minutes ago and put on thirty seconds ago.
