Before the BAFTA TV Awards, the Apple TV family of nominees got together for a little victory lap pre-party. Let’s judge.
Ike Barinholtz, Seth Rogen and Chase Sui Wonders
Ike is fine, but there’s not much there to comment on. Seth seems to be entering a more subdued style phase, with more toned-down colors and neutrals in the rotation. He’s allowed to, but the results are much less exciting than his previous phase. Neither of the guys are working too hard here, so we feel kind of bad trashing Chase’s outfit. It’s wildly over-ruched and those horizontal bands are terrible. Cute sandals, though.
Karolina Wydra, Rhea Seehorn and Samba Schutte
Love Samba’s whole look, right down to the brogues. To get super nit-picky, he needed light socks.
Shocker: we like this white dress and we think the neutral shoe was the right choice. See? We’re flexible sorts! We don’t hate whites or neutrals, but we think they make for poor choices for the red carpet most of the time. This suits her really well, feels appropriate for the dress code, and takes a decent picture. Can’t hate. Love the buttons and the subtle pleating.
This seems very heavy for May and somewhat stern for a party. It’s still pretty damn chic, though.
Adam Scott
This is such a fantastic look that we’re wondering what the hell happened with his team that they’d put him in such a bad one for the main ceremony. LOVE the colors here, although they also seem a little dark and heavy for this time of year.
