Thom Browne puts on such while runway shows and likes to insert some fairly crazy and unworkable pieces into them to make a point or tell a brand-based story, but when you get his designs out in the so-called real world and on the backs of the people most suited to them, his designs almost always come off as workably modern with more than a hint of the traditional to it. It’s a perfect blend of edge, chicness, and conventionality and it takes just the right wearer to make it sing. Miss Angelica’s serving you a whole opera.
