It’s possible – likely even – that what you need to get your day started is a massive dose of SJP doing the high drag version of Carrie Bradshaw.
Of course she had to go and do that thing with the shoes, but it’s oh so very Carrie. As for that massive poof of a gown, it’s silly and over-the-top. It’s big and loud. It’s not what we’d call elegant or restrained in its chicness. But it is fun and she does seem to be loving this moment – even if her boobs are silently weeping in pain. She hits the Carrie button a bit hard sometimes, but we figure an event like this is a perfect time to serve up one of those quintessential New York Fashion moments Carrie was known for.
