When it comes to doing the celebrity poledance – that neverending promotional tour for a neverending succession of projects and products – there is absolutely no one on the scene who does it with as much flair as Miss J Lo. Other stars may stand demurely in front of marketing artwork or a department store fragrance counter for their perfume launch, but that’s not how your girl here rolls.
You see, J Lo is here to tell a story and that story is, “I rode the subway to a nightclub where they displayed all of my favorite outfits.” We suspect this is all based on a dream J Lo has every night.
Anyway, as far as the fashion goes, this is Classic High J Lo (as opposed to her Jenny from the block persona, which is more street-oriented). She loves an all-white ensemble with aggressive accessorizing. We think the ankle straps are awful and the slit is too high, but it honestly doesn’t matter. This is her style sweet spot (one of them, anyway) and she can work this in her sleep – which may explain the dreamlike quality of this launch.
