Well, she finally got her blue moment on the old-new-borrowed-blue bridal scale. Zendaya unveiled her latest jaw-dropping look at the New York premiere of The Drama.

He co-star Robert Pattinson wisely chose to recede for the occasion.

It’s… just okay, to be honest. Sure, it’s dramatic as hell and takes a great picture. Of course she looks gorgeous in it. She’s Zendaya. It’s Schiaparelli. These things are givens. But we can’t say we love how the silk “feathers” are used. They’re fine in the bodice, but they make the skirt look like it weighs 200 pounds. Given how thick and heavy the construction tends to be, we really hate that the bodice is sheer and the boning is visible from the side. But look, the goal with Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach is always to produce these viral moments and they’re very good at it. Mission accomplished. This is the Dress of the Day. We’re just not in love with it ourselves. Her hair and makeup are gorgeous, though. He did well. We’re not in love with the monochrome, but he’s smart enough to know when to step it up and when to step back.
