Well, we should have seen this one coming. We made the in-retrospect reckless prediction yesterday that the cast of The Devil Wears Prada 2 could hang up their pumps and call it a day on the promo front, forgetting that there’s always a potential star ceremony in the offing.
But as Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies go, this one was both a family affair, as Emily Blunt was joined by husband John Krasinski to celebrate her and her brother-in-law Stanley Tucci’s long overdue patches of sidewalk, but it was also an unusually star-studded one.

Everyone showed up for this one, which gives you some indication of how respected they are by their peers.
He looks impeccable, as always. That is a really cute ensemble on her. It must be a bit of a relief to get into something sweetly pretty after modeling all of that high-fashion clownery for the last month. As for their pals, co-workers and spouses…
Perfectly acceptable.
Matt Damon’s looking good. The suit’s okay, but the shades are great.
It’s impressive how much effort these guys put in for an occasion that has nothing to do with them. RDJ’s suit is fine, but as is often the case with him, the clodhopper boots are ruining the line. Just wear heels, dude. On literally anyone else, we’d consider a sheer dress shirt worn to someone else’s walk of fame ceremony to be outrageously attention-seeking, but for The Rock, it’s just another Thursday. He looks great.
We’ll admit that the suit is a slight come-down for Meryl after a month of the best looks she’s ever worn, but it really is an improvement over her pre-DWP2 style and perhaps she really is going to step up her game. The cut’s a little too slouchy and oversized, but the colors look great on her.
