The Christophers is getting great reviews and we’re thrilled. Let’s get Ian McKellen that Oscar, people. To kick off that journey, he joined his co-star, the fabulous Michaela Coel for the film’s London premiere.

We support this legend’s love of whimsy and need for comfort, so the scarf and the kicks are the best part of this look. We just don’t think they go with the jacket at all and the shirt looks a little ragged.

This is lovely. While we wouldn’t have rec’d an all-black look for this time of year, the silhouette is fun and eye-catching and the whole look puts the focus on her face, where it should be. Her makeup looks gorgeous, although the shine could’ve been toned down for pictures.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
A mainstay of the London art scene since his starry breakout in the creative explosion of the 1960’s, Julian Sklar (Ian McKellen) has drifted into a cluttered, self-imposed seclusion. His two estranged children (James Corden, Jessica Gunning) enlist Lori (Michaela Coel), a young painter and sometime-forger, to pose as a prospective assistant and gain access to a fabled series of unfinished canvases Julian has buried deep in his home studio, in a deceptive bid to secure an inheritance for themselves.
