We don’t know if Hannah’s career plans were ever articulated as “Always play the cool girl who snags hot older women,” but it definitely seems to be working out for her. Their film’s been getting great reviews, so we look forward to several more sapphically inclined red carpet appearances.

Whether part of this whole vibe or not, we feel like her style has turned toward a distinctly femme vibe. She was never shy about sexy dresses but she never struck us as one for bows or other fussiness, like too many bejeweled straps for one dress to handle. What we’re saying here is that this isn’t a terrible dress, but it doesn’t feel like her style, and it could definitely use some edits. Let’s start with no bow and just two straps. The outside ones look like they were stapled to the bust.

We seem to be in a moment of t-shirt bodices and turtlenecks over ballgown skirts and we plan on being such bitches about it. We like the shape, dislike the mismatched whites, and hate the bodice. It’s dramatic and cool, which means it suits her. We’ll give it that.
