Since we’re all about focusing on the style choices of extremely privileged people, here’s the Dutch royal family, serving up cute for their Summer portrait.
Y’know, we’d like to be totally bitchy about this, but they all look pretty cute. We’re loving Princess Amalia’s green kicks, which is a fun, modern way to finish off an outfit that could’ve gone a little twee. Princess Alexia’s green dress is very sharp and stands out well among all the prints, but we have to admit, it’s Princess Ariane’s Max Mara getup that appeals the most. It’s got style and personality and it stands out in all of this precious royal finery. The Queen’s dress is way too mumsy for our tastes, but it suits her and it works well in this setting and grouping. The King’s jacket is a little small and he could’ve used a more kingly (read: new) pair of boots, but we appreciate the color choices.
