Queen Maxima kept the look low-key and chic as she made a visit to the Heerlerbaan District today, but she still managed to wear something a little goofy for the occasion. See if you can spot it.

Yes, your girl is wearing a sleeveless trench coat over a matching dress. We suppose there’s some usefulness to the design, if you’re someone whose job requires an insane amount of waving, but we’re afraid we can’t sign off on the idea at all. It looks like a very nice coat, except for that one glaring issue. The dress is lovely and the belt made a great choice for it. We won’t get too huffy about the wrinkling, although we’d think a royal would dress to avoid that problem as much as possible. She tends to use her jewelry well. The earrings are well chosen and that bracelet gives the look a subtle pop of color without pulling focus. But we’ve got to be honest bitches here: the hair looks terrible.
