Ali Wong in Balenciaga Couture
We don’t think there’s any styling choice that would make us love this dress, but getting rid of the black accessories would go a long way.
Anna Sawai in Dior Couture
As we said in our Cosmo writeup, this is pretty, but too plain for our tastes.
Ariana DeBose in Oscar de la Renta
The color looks great, but the dress needed better styling. The hair doesn’t do much for it and the necklace looks weird with a turtleneck.
Cara Delevingne in Gucci
Can’t argue with that.
Daniel Craig in Giorgio Armani
LOVE the suit, but we’d have liked new shoes with it.
Emma D’Arcy in Alexander McQueen
This is spectacular, but the pants need a hemming.
Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton
Love the hair, love the dress. It’s rare that she completely nails the look, in our opinion.
Glen Powell in Giorgio Armani
It’s fine, but we think there are more interesting ways to work a hot leading man look.
Glenn Close in Balmain
Love the style, but the graphic gets a little muddy and overwrought. We admire the commitment to wearing those shoes, but they look a little heavy to us.
Heidi Klum in Maria Lucia Hohan
We’re usually pretty supportive of her tackiness, but we’re afraid we have to get off the bus at this stop. The color is garish and the dress is simply too tight.
Hiroyuki Sanada in Ralph Lauren
Our one concession to featuring basic mens formalwear. He looks great.
Jean Smart in Rhea Costa
This is a great design, but we’re not in love with the color.
Kaley Cuoco in Chanel
It all looks a little too bedspread for our tastes. The skirt has possibilities but we dislike the cape.
Karla Sofía Gascón in Saint Laurent
It’s okay. It feels a bit unresolved as a look, like it needed some finishing.
Kate Winslet in Erdem
This is lovely. It’s great to see her evolve her style after being in a rut for so long.
Kerry Washington in Balenciaga
The design is overdone to the point of looking like it restricts her. The Barbie pink feels kind of stale to us.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons in Gucci
For once, he looks more stylish than she does. Not that she looks bad, but his whole deal is flawless.
Melissa McCarthy in Christian Siriano
It’s fun and draggy and it suits her personality while allowing her to spend the night in pants. It’s not chic, but we love it anyway.
Mindy Kaling in Ashi Studio Couture
Gorgeous.
Monica Barbaro in Christian Dior
It’s so dreary and forgettable.
Rachel Brosnahan in Vivienne Westwood
Gorgeous color, classic Westwood design. Love the silver pump but we’d have liked a less severe hairstyle here.
Sheryl Lee Ralph in St. John
She could’ve used a little more support in the bodice, but the color and style look fantastic on her.
Tilda Swinton in Chanel
It’s extremely rare for her Chanel relationship to truly pay off for either her or the brand, but this time, it did.
