As part of the ongoing fan fiction in our heads that the stars listen to our disapproval of their style choices and rush to course-correct, we like to thank our sustained laughter and derision regarding their previous looks – especially hers – had them scrambling to make us happy. Well, congratulations, you two. You did it. We’re happy. Mostly.

We thought the jacket was denim at first glance and we were ready to yell at him for it, but it’s suede and it’s gorgeous. Personally, we think the other choices let the jacket down. At the very least, a light-colored or white shirt would have given the look more of a seasonally appropriate feel, but it’s not a dealbreaker. He looks good.

Is she wearing this backwards? Possibly! She’s been known to go for the goofy stuff over the pretty stuff. That’s commendable, but it doesn’t always work out for her. This one does, largely because it’s dark and simple and she was smart enough to top it off with those stunning Sabyasachi earrings. We’re so happy to see big danglies come back into style. The makeup gun setting is still a bit high.
