Here’s a selection of the most interesting menswear looks of the 2025 Golden Globes, partially because we respect a big swing and partially because it’s boring doing a rundown with a bunch of standard tuxes. Hit it, risk-takers:
Adam Brody in Prada
It’s the most conventional look on the list, but we had to include because we just love that color and we’re thrilled to see a guy sporting brand-new shoes with a heavy silhouette. We hate the dollfeet trend so much, kittens.
Andrew Garfield in Gucci
He looked great on stage presenting, but here, it’s all looking a bit insufferable. Love the color, hate the split pants. We don’t like the matching shades and shirt at all.
Andrew Scott in Vivienne Westwood
We’re really looking forward to the death of the monochromatic suit trend. This is kind of eye-catching, but ultimately, we don’t think the color flatters him all that much.
Chris Perfetti in Tanner Fletcher
Give your Nana her jacket back, Chris. She’s getting chilly.
Colman Domingo in Valentino
His peacocking has gotten even more exuberant of late and we haven’t always loved the results, but this is spectacular.
Dwayne Johnson in Dolce & Gabbana
Serving tit, as per usual. The color’s nice.
Eddie Redmayne in Valentino
Meh. We appreciate the choice, but ultimately, that textile is too busy and ugly to make a whole suit out of it. And we hate the design and color of the shirt.
Jeremy Strong in Loro Piana
Sorry, but we love this. We think he’s pretentious and we don’t deny that this reeks of douche, but it’s so fun and unexpected that we can’t stay mad at it. It was one of the most discussed looks of the night and that was clearly the point of it.
Kieran Culkin in Celine
The vest doesn’t look right with the jacket, but the outfit looks really cute once he takes it off, which was clearly the plan all along. Granted, it’s a little bartender-y in vibe, but the kid tattoos give it a little whimsy.
Sebastian Stan in Prada
Personally, we don’t think sweaters belong anywhere near formalwear and we think suits with piping look a little circus-y, but there’s something very appealing about this look. It’s well suited to him and combines a sort of cuddly boyfriend vibe with a bit of Euro edge.
Tyler James Williams in Dolce & Gabbana
He looks fantastic in this style, but we feel like we’ve seen him in this look about a dozen times.
