ELEGANZA for a TUESDAY! What could be better, darlings? Besides eleganza on a Saturday, that is? Settle in and prepare to spend the day drinking with your pinkie raised, like a civilized person.

Marie Kalt Takes Us Inside Karl Lagerfeld’s Property Empire
There aren’t many people who can excel at multiple disciplines with equal aplomb. But Karl Lagerfeld was different. His creative output is abundant and well-documented, from design positions as creative director at Chanel and Fendi to his publishing partnership with Steidl, the tiny bookshop located on a quiet street of Paris’s Left Bank, and finally, the curation of his own personal surroundings, a job he never stopped refining.

As She Turns 80, Enjoy Diana Ross’s Best Pop Icon Beauty Looks of All Time
“It takes a long time to get to be a diva,” Diana Ross once said. “I mean, you gotta work at it.” True to her own mantra, the queen of Motown, 80, has been doing just that throughout her career with directional hair and make-up. While attending high school, Detroit-born-and-bred Ross enrolled in cosmetology school, practising hairstyles on herself as well as taking on neighbours as clients. But it was when she became the lead singer of The Supremes that Ross’s look — her coiffure and thick lashes especially — reached new heights. “My mom does all her own hair and make-up, and always has,” explains her daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross. “Eyelashes, the whole deal — she does it herself.”

What is a moon phase? Understanding moon cycles could empower you – here’s how
Get in tune with the moon.

If you consider yourself spiritually-minded, it’s almost certain that you’ll be obsessed with the moon. Astrologists believe that understanding the moon phase, or where it is in relation to the Earth over its recurring 28-day cycle, is key to dictating our mood and energy levels at that point in time.
Knowing how, and why, the moon cycle affects us, can be an empowering force, enabling us to match our daily behaviours to what the moon dictates.

On Her 59th Birthday, Sarah Jessica Parker Is Having The Time Of Her Life In London
Since arriving in London at the start of 2024, Sarah Jessica Parker – a woman who could sell Manolo Blahniks to a monk – has worn the same outfit almost every single day: cuffed jeans, fleece-lined booties and a dog-walking jacket. She will sometimes be photographed in a knitted beanie, and she will almost always emerge bare-faced with her hair scraped back into a severe ponytail. When most of Parker’s evenings have been spent performing in a simulacrum of a seventh-floor hotel suite at The Savoy Theatre – flitting between a series of evermore garish period costumes and ’60s wigs – the sparsity of her own wardrobe feels like an obvious return to self. She knows there is real anonymity in dressing like just about every other West End tourist, and that there is safety, too, in repetition.

It’s Official: Lady Gaga And Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker Sequel Will Be A Jukebox Musical
Todd Phillips’s Joker made over $1 billion when it was released in 2019 and earned its formidable lead, Joaquin Phoenix, a Best Actor Oscar. So, it was, of course, only a matter of time before we heard that the twisted psychological thriller centred on the green-haired super villain and Batman adversary would be getting a sequel. What is startling, however, is that the new project is a jukebox musical and Lady Gaga is taking on one of its starring roles.

20 Gorgeous April Nail Colors to Try Now
If April does indeed bring May flowers, you’re going to want a mood-boosting manicure to remind you of the vibrant colors and sunny days to come. So now is the perfect time to break out bright yellows, ethereal iridescents, and grounded greens.
“I’m a big fan of anything colorful for April because spring has officially sprung,” says celebrity nail artist Natalie Minerva. “This year, I foresee lots of orange-reds, pastel neons, and azul [blue].” Nail artist Sonia Sanchez adds that pastels are also perfect. “Pastel colors provide cheerfulness and calmness from their high brightness and low saturation,” says Sanchez.

Chloë Sevigny on Feud, Monsters, and Being a Generational Muse
The actor talks building a career portraying outsiders, the upcoming Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, and how her 20s already feel like a “such a different era”

Chloë Sevigny has always been drawn to stories about outsiders. Since bursting onto the scene as an HIV+ teenager in the 1995 film Kids and earning an Academy Award nomination for her work as the girlfriend of a transgender man in 1999’s pioneering Boys Don’t Cry, Sevigny has built an eclectic career tackling taboo topics in indie and art-house films and prestige dramas alike, and has brought her signature brand of cool and toughness to the small and silver screens in equal measure.
But before landing a supporting role on Ryan Murphy’s Feud: Capote vs. the Swans, which wrapped up its eight-episode run earlier this month, Sevigny seldom had the chance to play, as she puts it, “a glamorous character”—one who hearkens back to the actor’s status as a ’90s It girl and style icon.

Why You Should Never, Ever Turn a Baguette Upside Down
Better safe than sorry.

If you’ve ever tossed a little salt over your shoulder, or seriously considered hanging garlic on your door frame to protect you from evil, then we’ve got one more food-focused superstition to add to your roster. And it involves never — ever — placing your bread upside down.
Specifically, there’s an old French superstition that says it’s very bad luck to ever place a loaf of bread — and even more specifically, a baguette — upside down on a table.

Chick-fil-A Has Some Major News, and Fans Aren’t Going to Be Happy
The fast-food chicken chain is going to stop serving antibiotic-free chicken.

A newly announced change to Chick-fil-A’s menu may ruffle some feathers.
The fast-food chicken chain announced this week via a notification on their app that it’ll be ending its promise to only serve 100% antibiotic-free chicken. “Chick-fil-A will shift from No Antibiotics Ever (NAE) to No Antibiotics Important To Human Medicine (NAIHM) starting in the Spring of 2024,” the national brand shared online as its updated “chicken commitment.”
The change is a major departure from Chick-fil-A’s 2014 promise to go completely antibiotic-free. In February 2014, Chick-fil-A announced its intention to exclusively serve chicken raised without antibiotics in all Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide by 2019.

Oreo’s New Space Dunk Cookie Comes With a Fun Twist: the Chance to Go to Actual Space
Take your love of Oreos to new heights.

Attention space fans: It’s time to get excited. The solar eclipse, which will traverse a large section of the United States, is just days away. And while we’re sure all you astronomy lovers already have your plans squared away, Oreo would like you to add one more tasty treat to your eclipse-snacking itinerary — its Oreo Space Dunk cookies. But hang on, there’s more. The brand is also giving one lucky person the chance to dunk this cookie in space.

Forget Tuscany—For the Real Italy, Visit Emilia-Romagna
If you’ve ever eaten Italian food—not just in Italy but anywhere in the world—you’ve undoubtedly tasted some of the iconic products that come from Emilia-Romagna: Parmigiano Reggiano, prosciutto di Parma, mortadella, balsamic vinegar, to name just a few. Yet Emilia-Romagna is rarely the first region that people visit when they go to the boot. That’s a shame because it has an incredible diversity of experiences to offer, from elegant cities like Bologna, Parma, and Modena to beaches in Rimini, vineyards in the countryside, and Byzantine mosaics in Ravenna. Though it’s located just north of Tuscany, it remains blissfully uncrowded and under-the-radar.

‘Succession’ on Ice
Ilia Malinin, an American teenager, won the men’s World Figure Skating Championships with a performance set to the theme of the HBO series.

Like the plot of “Succession,” Ilia Malinin’s winning program for the men’s singles competition at the World Figure Skating Championships on Saturday had a lot of twists: six quadruple jumps that included a quadruple axel, a feat involving four and a half rotations in the air.
That those elements were set to the HBO series’ theme song only heightened the drama of Mr. Malinin’s performance.

Will Country Welcome Beyoncé? That’s the Wrong Question.
“Cowboy Carter” is an extension of the pop superstar’s exploration of how Black creativity fuels all corners of popular music. She’s embracing the music, not the industry.

With the release of “Cowboy Carter,” Beyoncé’s eighth solo album and the one that finds her exploring — and testing — the boundaries of country music, much of the early conversation has centered on whether the country music industry would rally around her. Beyoncé is one of the most commercially successful and creatively vibrant pop stars of the 21st century — certainly her arrival would be greeted with hurrahs, no? Not quite.

See Michael Jackson biopic cast and the real people they’re playing: Kat Graham as Diana Ross, Larenz Tate as Berry Gordy

Antoine Fuqua wants to be startin’ something.
The director is assembling an ensemble cast for his upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, simply titled Michael. The film will follow the life and career of the late King of Pop, from his early days as a member of family group the Jackson 5 through to his successes as a solo artist. Michael will trace Jackson’s triumphs and tragedies as it examines both his personal struggles and his most iconic performances.

20 Goat Cheese Recipes Where This Creamy, Tangy Ingredient Shines
Fresh chèvre brings bright flavor and creaminess to appetizers, salads, and even desserts.

Our collection of recipes with goat cheese shows the versatility of this delicious ingredient. It has a delicate acidity that balances many earthy and sweet flavors and a creamy texture. It melts quickly upon contact with heat, and when cold, it crumbles into a topping for salads and grain dishes. Choose from elegant appetizers, crisp salads, and any-night pastas—there’s even a cake with goat cheese frosting for the fall.
Like most traditional cheeses, those made from goat’s milk can take many forms and styles. Goat cheese can be pressed into logs and pyramids, allowed to develop a light rind or be coated in an ashy one. It can be aged for a short or long time. When we call for goat cheese in these recipes, we most often refer to the logs or tubs of fresh, mild goat cheese that can be purchased in grocery stores everywhere.
