And now for that annual post-awards show tradition where we turn to Miss Heidi Klum to provide us with outfits to discuss. She never fails to bring it, even if what she brings isn’t always great. Did that make sense? Our point is that she always serves a complete, thematically and stylistically consistent look. Regardless of whether said looks work or not, she thinks about each one.

For instance, on this day, she thought about wearing a hideous pleather skirt and jacket, but when she realized the addition of saggy opaque tights made the whole ensemble a little too heavy for the weather, she removed the hideous jacket. It’s too her enormous credit that she can wear a skirt that looks inflatable with a pair of sagging tights and still look like a supermodel.

On this day, she took a more relaxed approach and she’s all the better for it. This is actually kind of chic, in a utilitarian sort of way. Were the silver pumps the right way to go? We’re thinking no but we have yet to come up with an alternative.
