The first season of Prime Video’s Fallout adaptation dropped last night (we might have a thing or two to say on the podcast) and star Ella Purnell can finally breathe a little, since practically no one else from the cast has been making the promo rounds. After working a series of attention-seeking looks this week, she toned things way down for a little victory lap with Jimmy Fallon.
This is actually adorable. The shoes are a little on the ridiculous side, but between them and the flash of that leg tat, it’s lending a plainly twee dress a kind of sass that really suits her. The hair, makeup and jewelry are all well chosen and give it youthfully grownup sort of feel. That dress could go dowdy or Lolita if the styling isn’t just right and in this case, they nailed it. She looks really cute.
